HOW MANY LIGHTS CAN ONE ILLUMINATOR HOLD?

The Light House Illuminator, Boss Illuminator and Contour Illuminator are capable of holding up to 500 individual strands of fiber. The Optic-Series 2000 illuminator is capable of holding up to 320 strands of fiber. When calculating the total strands of fiber for your application, remember, the side light cable operates in a closed loop system: both ends of the cable MUST return back to the illuminator. Example: If your application calls for the Colmax 40 strand side light cable (CX-40S), you must account for 80 fibers.
